About Us

We are the Bay Area Basketball Officials Association. Our Bay Area Chapter is made up of over 70+ officials and is a member of the Texas High School Basketball Officials Association (THSBOA). Our organization strives to provide highly professional and well-trained officials for every school district we service ranging from the Junior High School level through to the Varsity level on a weekly basis; not only during the pre-season and district season, but also through the post-season as well up to the UIL Texas State Championship. 

Bay Area Basketball Officials Association strives to promote the growth and development of not only the young athletes that participate in basketball, but also the game of basketball itself. We want to develop officials who hold true to the laws of the basketball and who take pride in officiating the game of basketball. Through constant development, training and coach feedback, Bay Area Officials aims to produce sound officiating quality week in and week out to all the Districts we currently serve. In doing so, we can truly create and promote a positive and competitive environment as officials for young athletes.
